Ottobiano 26-mar-2017: 2rd round of International of Italiy Supermoto Championship [ITA-ENG]

[ITA]:
Prima uscita ufficiale per i nuovi piloti del team triestino Degasoline motorsport per la stagione 2017, il 26enne ceco Pavel Kejmar e il 20nne belga Romain Kaivers.
Gara di preparazione per i campionati Europeo e Mondiale Supermoto, al via a fine Aprile.
Prima volta anche sulla nuova TM Fi450 factory 2017: entrambi i piloti provengono da moto derivate dal cross, quindi dovranno riadattare la loro guida ad una moto “stradale”.
Le prove del sabato inizialmente sono servite per allestire le nuove moto, trasferire i materiali testati precedentemente e verificare in pista l’efficienza delle soluzioni preparate.
Domenica mattina, alle prove ufficiali, prime verifiche sul lavoro fatto: 10’ di giri liberi e poi 20’ di prove cronometrate. In testa, come alla fine dell’altra stagione, nell’ ordine, i soliti Schmidt, Chareyre e Kejmar. Sulla bandiera a scacchi, però, si ribaltano le posizioni. 
La griglia:  Chareyre Thomas 1:30,861; Kejmar Pavel  a 0,170"; Schmidt Marc a 0,224"

RUN 1:
Domenica mattina, pista bagnata per le prime categorie, ma con cielo in miglioramento. Alla partenza della Supermoto, il tracciato è praticamente asciutto, ma lo sterrato, che prima dell’appuntamento Italiano è stato ripristinato con nuova terra, è diventato così più scivoloso. Al via scattano Chareyre, Kejmar, Schmidt e Borrella, poi tutti gli altri e per 9 giri rimane tutto invariato. Kejmar e Schmidt prendono circa un secondo al giro da Chareyre, poi, all’entrata dello sterrato, Schmidt riesce a superare Kejmar, passando in seconda posizione. Fino al traguardo Kejmar perderà leggermente anche da Schmidt. Al ritorno ai box si scoprirà che il serbatoio dell’ammortizzatore posteriore aveva perso la carica di azoto e quindi non lavorava. Kaivers, partito dalla 13a posizione, durante il primo giro è caduto, procurandosi una botta alla schiena, per poi dall‘ultima posizione recuperare e terminare al 14° posto.
Finale: 1. Chareyre Thomas miglior tempo sul giro 1:29,987;  Schmidt Marc a 12,4”; Kejmar Pavel  a 16,5"

RUN 2:
Avvio della seconda manche con Kejmar che scatta benissimo e arriva alla prima curva al comando, seguito da Chareyre,  Schmidt e Class. Durante il primo giro ci sono degli scambi di posizione tra Chareyre e Kejmar, che perde il comando della gara. Per 11 giri i primi 5 mantengono le posizioni. Al 12° giro Schmidt, sempre all’entrata dello sterrato, riesce a passare Kejmar, ma dopo pochi metri questi lo tampona ed entrambi rischiano di cadere. Ad avere la peggio è Kejmar, che scivola a terra e, nel rialzarsi, perde un paio di secondi. In questa seconda manche tutti i protagonisti hanno abbassato il tempo sul giro di più di un secondo e Thomas Chareyre ha battuto il record della pista con 1:27,298, migliorando di quasi 8 decimi il record precedente. Kaivers, partito dalla griglia in 13a posizione e dolorante per la caduta della prima manche, mantiene il 13° posto fino alla fine.
Finale: 2. Chareyre Thomas miglior tempo sul giro 1:29,298;  Schmidt Marc a 6”; Kejmar Pavel  a 14,9"

First official exit for the new riders of the Trieste Degasoline motorsport team for  the season 2017: the 26 year old Czech Pavel Kejmar and the 20 year old Belgian Romain Kaivers. 
Preparation race for the European and World Supermoto Championships, the first of which kicks off in late April.
First time also riding the new TM Fi450 factory 2017: both drivers come from bikes derived from the offroad, and now have to readjust their guide to a “street” motorcycle.
Saturday tests are dedicated to set up the new bikes, to transfer the previously tested materials and to verify on track the efficiency of the prepared solutions.
Sunday early morning first check of the work done, during 10’  free practice and 20'  time practice. The leading riders of  the previous season go ahead, in order Schmidt, Chareyre and Kejmar. At the checkered flag, however,  the positions are reversed.
The grid: 1st row, Chareyre Thomas 1:30,861; Kejmar Pavel at 0,170"; Schmidt Marc at 0,224"

RUN 1:
On Sunday morning, track is wet for the first categories, but the weather is rapidly improving. At the start of Supermoto, the track is almost dry, but the offroad has been restored just before the Italian appointment by adding new soil, thus becoming slippery. At start Chareyre, Kejmar, Schmidt and Borrella sprint, followed by all the others. For 9 laps positions remain completely unchanged, Kejmar and Schmidt taking about one second per lap from Chareyre. At the entrance of off road Schmidt manages to overcome Kejmar, passing in the second position. Until the finish line Kejmar slightly loses from Schmidt. When back to the pits, mechanics find out that the rear suspension of his bike had lost nitrogen and was not working. The other rider Romain Kaivers, who started from 13th position, during the first lap had fallen and got a blow on the back, and then recovered from the last position to the 14th place.
Final: 1. Chareyre Thomas, best lap with 1:29,987;  Schmidt Marc at 12,4”; Kejmar Pavel  at 16,5"

RUN 2:
The second race starts with Kejmar that snaps fine and arrives at the first turn in the lead, followed by Chareyre, Schmidt and Class. During the first lap Chareyre and Kejmar change their positions few times and Kejmar loses the lead of the race. For 11 laps the first 5 riders maintain the positions. During the 12th lap Schmidt, at the entrance of off road, surpasses Kejmar, who, after a few meters,  crashes into Schmidt and both are about to fall.  Kejmar gets worse and slips, losing a couple of seconds. All the best riders of the second run lowered the lap time by over a second and Thomas Chareyre broke the track record with 1: 27.298, almost eight tenths better than the previous record. Kaivers, aching due to the fall of the first run, started from the grid in 13th position and kept the 13th place to the end.
